Back in the summer we were at a local school fair and came across a lovely lady by the name of Laura who was running a small stall at the fair selling personalised gifts and keepsakes.
Her stall caught our eye and the products were really pretty, we got chatting about an upcoming christening we were attending and mentioned that we had an idea for a gift but couldn’t find anywhere that could produce anything close to what we wanted. Laura however was amazing, she made a note of what we were wanting and set to work with some ideas of how we could achieve it and I’ve got to admit her finished product was gorgeous and received lots of praise from the recipients.
This then led to us looking for a gift for close friend’s birthday who is notoriously difficult to buy for. Between us we brainstormed some ideas and eventually Laura came up with the idea of a cocktail recipe. We worked together to produce the wording and again the final article was beautiful and loved by the birthday girl.
With both our gifts Laura kept in touch with us throughout the design process and ensured we were happy with everything each step of the way. Both gifts were beautifully wrapped with brown paper and tied with string, and I can honestly say that they are becoming some of our favourite things (I feel a song coming…)
Laura is currently our go to person for all things crafty and different, especially for people we find hard to buy for and she is currently working on gifts for us for an upcoming new edition to the family, a wedding and something for our daughter’s bedroom.
